Kinship Therapeutic Foster Care (KTFC)

KTFC training prepares kinship caregivers to support children with complex emotional and behavioral needs. Families will gain practical tools and additional knowledge to understand trauma and its impact on child development and attachment.

The training builds skills to respond to challenging behaviors, manage crises, and support children affected by separation, trauma, and loss. Caregivers will also learn how to access services and supports that help meet children’s needs and foster a caring, supportive environment.
